This national call for entry is open to all artists living or working in the United States. Only original alternative process prints or plates will be accepted for exhibition, please no digital prints. All entries must be original works of art and entirely the work of the entrant. Accepted entries will be exhibited at The Image Flow in Mill Valley, CA.

Image File Requirements
Please name all image files as “Last Name_First Name_Artwork Title_Dimensions_Year”
2500 px on the longest edge, 72 ppi, JPG saved at 80% quality in sRGB colorspace.
*File size must be limited to 4mb*
$30 non-refundable registration fee.
Artists will be notified of accepted work via email about 2 weeks after the submission deadline. All selected photographs will be posted on our website upon receiving decisions from the jury. We send an email to each accepted photographer but please also check the website at selection time.
35-40 Selected images will hang in The Image Flow’s main gallery space for approximately 8 weeks. Our openings are catered events with light hor d'oeuvres, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Selected images must be matted and framed to professional standards with a simple black metal or wood frame and covered in glass or acrylic unless prior approval has been obtained. All frames must be and wired in the back for hanging, no sawtooth hangers. The Image Flow reserves the right to reject any piece not framed to our standards.
The Image Flow realizes alternative processes frequently involve alternative presentation techniques and will work with exhibitors to accommodate exceptions for this show.
Artists exhibiting at the Gallery may offer their work for sale at a price of their choosing. The Image Flow encourages sales during exhibitions and retains a 50% commission on work sold. The artist receives 50% of the sale price. For further responsibilities regarding sale of artwork, please contact the gallery.
Artists are responsible for art delivery and pickup.

The Image Flow carries insurance for loss or damage to artwork in the exhibit but not in transit.
Artists are responsible for all shipping charges to and from the gallery. Artists are also responsible for providing their own shipping insurance coverage if desired. FedEx (preferred) or UPS only.
If you are shipping us your work and you would like your work returned, you must also include a prepaid shipping label from FedEx (preferred) or UPS only. In the event that your work does not sell. We will not be responsible for work without a prepaid return label 14 days after the exhibit is taken down.
Artist retains all copyrights to their own images. Artists whose work is chosen for exhibition inclusion grant The Image Flow permission to use images for promoting the exhibition, artist, or The Image Flow and its programs, and current and past exhibitions. Images may be placed on social media for promotion and features. Artists grant usage as stated without further compensation.
As artists participating in one of our shows you are consenting to be added to our mailing list to receive updates for promotional information about the show. Please also feel free to follow us on social media for relevant promotion across the board at @theimageflow and “The Image Flow” on respective platforms.

If your art does not sell at the exhibition you have the option to have it returned (Prepaid) or donate it to The Image Flow’s Flat File. Flat File artwork is available for viewing, may be exhibited again, donated to another organization or sold to benefit The Image Flow. If sold, The Image Flow retains all profits from the sale. Flat File art is destroyed two years after the close of the original exhibition.
